Who Benefits From a Maintenance Plan?
A maintenance plan is most useful for homeowners who want yearly furnace and AC tune-ups, priority service and repair discounts, starting at $15 a month. These are the situations where it tends to make sense.
- You want service organized in advanceSeasonal appointments get scheduled rather than remembered, which is the main practical benefit for most households.
- You have both heating and coolingHomes with a furnace and central AC have two seasonal visits to keep track of, which is where a plan earns its place.
- Your equipment is newNewer systems often have maintenance expectations tied to manufacturer warranty requirements.
- Your equipment is olderSystems nearing the end of their service life benefit from consistent monitoring rather than occasional attention.
- You prefer one companyKeeping history with one local team means technicians have context about prior readings, repairs and comfort concerns.
- You keep forgetting to bookIf last year's tune-up never happened, a plan simply removes that from your list.
Plan details should match the equipment actually in the home. The enrolled systems and visit schedule should be confirmed before signing up.
How Scheduled Maintenance Works
A plan supports maintenance. It does not turn failed components into included routine work unless the current agreement specifically says so.
- Review the equipment. Pure Comfort confirms the systems in the home and which of them the plan will cover.
- Schedule the visits. The applicable seasonal appointments are arranged in advance rather than left to be remembered.
- Complete the maintenance. Each visit follows the maintenance approach for that system, including operating checks, safety components, airflow and controls.
- Report the findings. We explain normal conditions, developing concerns and any repair that should be considered separately.
Maintenance Plan, Repair or Replacement?
A maintenance plan helps you decide between repair and replacement earlier, with a record of each visit behind the decision. The goal is to make those decisions earlier and with better system history behind them.
Scheduled service on working equipment
A maintenance plan keeps seasonal care on the calendar and builds a record of how your systems are performing over time.
Failed components are separate work
A plan does not replace repair service when equipment has failed, and it does not create a reason to replace an operating system.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE FIND SOMETHING
Note it and watch it
Some conditions are worth documenting now and rechecking at the next scheduled visit.
Quoted separately
Routine maintenance and repairs are different services unless the current plan specifically states otherwise.
Future replacement
Findings can be included in longer-term planning so a replacement is never a rushed decision.
Build the record
Consistent readings over time make each of the above decisions easier and better informed.

Seasonal Care for Streamwood Homes
Illinois homes depend on heating and cooling through very different seasonal conditions. Planning service before peak weather reduces the chance that annual maintenance is forgotten until the system is already under heavy demand.
Pure Comfort’s local experience also helps technicians recognize recurring airflow, filter and control conditions across the same home over time.

HVAC Maintenance Plan FAQs
What does an HVAC maintenance plan include?
Pure Comfort offers two maintenance plans:
- Basic plan, $15 a month: a furnace tune-up and an AC tune-up every year, 10% off repairs, and priority service.
- Standard plan, $20 a month: everything in Basic, plus 15% off repairs and no $75 service call fee.
Both plans cover your furnace and your air conditioner.
Are repairs included?
Repairs aren’t included, but plan members save on them: 10% off with the Basic plan and 15% off with the Standard plan. Standard plan members also don’t pay the $75 service call fee, and both plans get priority service.
Can older equipment be enrolled?
Eligibility depends on equipment type and condition.
Does a plan cover both heating and cooling?
Many plans are designed around both, but the enrolled systems and schedule should be confirmed.
Can you maintain equipment you did not install?
Pure Comfort services all major HVAC makes and models, subject to plan eligibility.
Does maintenance prevent every breakdown?
No. It can reveal developing problems and support reliable operation, but no plan eliminates every failure.
How much does an HVAC maintenance plan cost?
$15 a month for the Basic plan, or $20 a month for the Standard plan. Both include a furnace tune-up and an AC tune-up every year. The Standard plan adds a bigger repair discount (15% instead of 10%) and waives the $75 service call fee, so it usually pays for itself if you need even one repair.
