What This Website Is For
This website exists to explain the services we offer, describe the equipment we install and service, and make it easy to reach us. The guides, explanations and comparisons published here are general information about heating, cooling and indoor air quality.
Nothing on this website is a diagnosis of your system, a recommendation for your home, or a quotation for work. Every home is different, and the right answer depends on conditions that can only be assessed in person. Do not rely on anything published here as a substitute for having your system evaluated.
These Terms Are Not Your Service Agreement
These terms cover your use of the website only. They are not the contract for any work we carry out at your property.
The terms for a specific job are set out in the written estimate, work authorization or invoice for that job. Where anything in those documents conflicts with anything on this page, the signed job paperwork governs that work.
Requesting Service
Submitting a form on this website, sending an email or leaving a voicemail is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists once we have confirmed a date and time with you directly.
Forms and emails are reviewed during business hours. If your system is down, call us rather than using a form, because a phone call gets you a faster answer.
We reserve the right to decline a request, including where the work falls outside our service area, outside what we are licensed to carry out, or where site conditions make the work unsafe.
Estimates, Pricing and the Diagnostic Fee
Diagnostic visits carry a $75 fee. This covers the visit and the time it takes to identify the actual fault. You will be told the cost of any repair before work begins.
Estimates for replacement are free, given in writing and carry no obligation to proceed.
Any price, figure or range mentioned anywhere on this website is general information only and is not a quotation. Pricing depends on the equipment selected, the condition of your existing system, access, required modifications and current supplier costs. Only a written estimate prepared for your home is a price you can rely on.
Where additional work is discovered once a job is underway, we will explain it and obtain your approval before proceeding.
Offers and Promotions
Any offer, discount or promotion shown on this site is subject to the terms stated with it, applies only while it is published, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. Offers cannot be combined unless we state otherwise, and cannot be applied to work already completed or already quoted.
Financing
Financing is provided by third party lenders, not by Pure Comfort. All financing is subject to credit approval by the lender, and the lender sets the rates, terms and eligibility requirements.
Rates, terms and promotional periods change. Anything shown on this website about financing is illustrative. The terms that apply to you are the ones the lender presents when your application is processed.
Equipment Warranties and Our Work
Manufacturer warranties on equipment are provided by the manufacturer, not by us. Coverage depends on the model, on the manufacturer’s requirements including registration where applicable, and on the equipment being maintained as the manufacturer specifies.
Any labor coverage we provide is stated in the paperwork for that job. Nothing on this website extends, replaces or adds to a manufacturer warranty or to the coverage stated in your job paperwork.
Emergency Service
Emergency HVAC service is available. Phones are answered directly during business hours and routed to our answering service outside them, so call to check availability for your situation. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of a particular response time.
If you smell gas, leave the building immediately and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not wait for us.
Service Area
We serve Streamwood and the surrounding Northwest Suburbs. The towns listed on this site indicate where we regularly work. Listing a town does not guarantee availability on a particular day, and requests outside our service area may be declined.
Accuracy of the Information Here
We take care to keep this website accurate, but equipment specifications, manufacturer programs, efficiency standards, rebates and regulations all change. We do not warrant that everything on the site is current, complete or free of errors, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.
